I love these pendant lights! I'm going to have two hanging from the ceiling of one of the bathrooms.  The countertop and floor are chocolate brown, chunky tiles, very masculine.  These will look so dreamy.

These are four guys I met in Vegas.  They really fell for me.

I have a barn!  It has 2 stalls for horses, a front room, a back room, and a loft.  It's adorable!  I don't want horses, but it would be so cool for a studio, with a pottery wheel and a kiln, and Morgan will love playing in here I'm sure.  And it has water and electricity.  Party barn!  Camp outs!  Give me some ideas of what else I can do with this great space.  Did I mention spectacular mountain views?

Who knew there were so many flavors of neutral?  My mind was made up on "chapel steps", but then I saw "blush", "bisque", "drifting sands", "macaroon", "pasta", "cafe cream", and "onion skin".  My choice is "blush", and that's my final answer.

Long time no Blog!  Spring break came two weeks ago, and the only thing worse than our 5 year old daughter being sick on vacation is her parents being sick on vacation!  John and Morgan had the flu, I had the flu plus sinus infection and pneumonia.  We took a few days to recover - and we went to Vegas!  I loved it.  We stayed at the Bellagio and we had sunshine, great food, shows, swimming, and all the shiny lights I could ever imagine.  Now we are back home and looking forward to more new house stuff.

A big thank you to Pete Whitehead, our realtor.

We had "dates" with Pete every Thursday, when he would show us homes  and educate us on the different areas within Sun Valley.  He really listened to us and learned to tailor homes to our taste.  When he showed us the home we just purchased, we knew our search was finished.  While we have lost our Thursday morning dates with Pete, we have gained a true friend.  Thank you Pete.

Here is a cabinet we really wanted for our dining room.  It would look great with our shaker style dining room table with "weathered" wood.  But it won't fit!  Our general contractor said he can build us one with matching wood, and actually make it fit perfectly for a better look.

My goal is to take SOMETHING to the new house every day.  Today I took something so practical.  Toilet paper!

We drove 78 miles to the town of Twin Falls yesterday.  It was our hope to shop for beds, grills, cabinets, sofas, but instead did the power shop at Costco - it's what people do out here, they make a monthly trip and buy EVERYTHING!  We also bought our daughter the cutest pair of shoes.
