Back to school

Who remembers school lunches?  Sometimes my mom used to put a note in my lunch that said "I love you".  Morgan can't read yet, so maybe I can make a note with a heart and a smiley face.

    I never got any notes in my lunch :-( Remember bologna and mayonnaise sandwiches? ICK!

    The best was mom's banana cake. It was a great bargaining tool to upgrade to a few Fritos.

    NO kidding!! I took an entire banana sheet cake to band camp in my suitcase. Me and Mike Beasley skipped out of camp one day and went home to our house and mom wasn't even mad! She fried us up some hamburgers. We were happy campers - ha!

    School lunches...... banana cake....... potato chip crumbs...... recess...... Oh, God, I need a recess.
